Sunshine Cruz Confirms Breakup w/ Macky Mathay
SUNSHINE CRUZ – The Kapuso actress was asked by Boy Abunda if there was third party in her breakup with Macky Mathay.
After several years of being in a relationship, Sunshine Cruz and Macky Mathay have called it quits. Their breakup was confirmed by the Kapuso actress during her appearance as guest in the newest Kapuso show, Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.
Both Sunshine and Macky have kids from their previous relationships. The Kapuso actress has three (3) daughters with her former husband, actor Cesar Montano. The San Juan City Councilor also have three (3) children, two (2) sons and a daughter, from his previous relationship.
When they were still in a relationship, Sunshine, Macky, and their children were a picture of a happy family. They are close to each other’s children and the kids also developed a bond.
Many people were saddened when rumors and speculations about the breakup of Sunshine Cruz and Macky Mathay crossed the surface in late 2022. Recently, during her guesting in Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, the Kapuso actress confirmed that she and the San Juan City Councilor have separated.
Sunshine expressed that she stayed silent amid the rumors and speculations because there are kids whom they love who are involved. She also chooses to look back with gratitude to the good times they shared and for the love they have and how they inspired each other. She did not get into the details of the cause of their breakup.
During the interview, when asked if there was a third party involved in her breakup with Macky Mathay, Sunshine Cruz had a cryptic response:
“Parang wala ako sa posisyon na magsalita tungkol diyan,” the Kapuso actress said.
