EDDIE GUTIERREZ – The veteran actor recently underwent eye surgery to remove one of two cataracts he had.
Eddie’s wife Annabelle Rama took to social media to give an update about the veteran actor’s eye surgery.
On Instagram, Annabelle shared that she prayed for her husband’s successful cataract eye surgery at Asian Eye Institute (Rockwell branch).
According to her, her husband came out of the operating room with a big smile as his right eye can see clearly after the surgery. She also said that they will be back at the hospital for the left eye surgery.
“After 4 hours of praying and waiting, Eddie came out of the operating room with a big smile. His right eye can see clearly now! We will be back for the left eye,” she shared. “It is a Happy Valentine’s Day indeed!”
Ruffa Gutierrez, for her part, posted on Instagram Stories where she commented on the success of her father’s eye surgery.

Both Annabelle and Ruffa shared an Instagram post from the Asian Eye Institute.
Eddie Gutierrez and his wife Annabelle Rama tied the knot in 1980 and have 6 children together: Ruffa, Richard, Raymond, Rocky, Elvis, and Ritchie.
It was last January 6 when Eddie celebrated his 81st birthday. At that time, the veteran actor celebrated his special day with his family and closest friends in the showbiz industry.
The veteran actor’s showbiz career has spanned more than 5 decades after making his major acting debut in the 1960 film “Kaming Makasalanan”.
