Male Netizen Expresses ‘Dismay’ After Discovering Bangus Belly is Missing

Bangus belly is missing? Male netizen airs “dismay”

BANGUS BELLY – A male netizen took to social media wherein he hilariously expressed his dismay after discovering that the belly part or tiyan of fried bangus or milkfish is missing.

Most Filipinos are inherently fond of bangus. The fish is well-liked in the Philippines for its sweet, milky flavor and its melt-in-your-mouth feel. The milkfish is considered the unofficial “national fish” of the Philippines since it is rich in nutrients and offers a number of health advantages.

Ultimately, the part that Filipinos love when it comes to bangus is the belly or “tiyan.” According to the National Nutrition Council, it is a good cheap source of omega-3 fatty acids that are good for cardiovascular health. Omega-3 is a type of unsaturated fat that is found mostly in fish and seafood such as Bangus, Tilapia and Mackerel.

Fried bangus in particular is present in any Filipino occasion. Of course, one thing that bangus lovers should not miss out while indulging in this cuisine is the belly part. But after discovering that this essential part of bangus is missing at a party, a male netizen took to social neworking site, Facebook wherein he posted his “disappointment.”

He went to Homepaslupa Buddies 3.0 Facebook page wherein he posted a photo of the fried boneless bangus with the missing belly. His post was accompanied with the caption: “NAPAKA WALANG HIYA NYO”

Obviously, he was just trying to spread good vibes with his post. His post generated hundreds of reactions and shares online. Most of the netizens said they would surely get mad if same thing happens, especially for those who believe in the supremacy of bangus belly.
