Jodi Sta Maria on her new pet: “He’s growing fast and getting comfy here at home.”
JODI STA MARIA – The actress recently took to social media to give an update after she adopted a stray cat she saw at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
It was last week when the actress adopted a stray cat and named her new pet “Naia”.
On Thursday, Jodi posted a series of photos with her cat on her Twitter account as she gave an update about her cat.
The actress shared that Naia is growing fast and getting comfortable at home. She also said that Naia enjoys playing cat games on her phone, adding that her shoulder is her pet’s “current favorite spot”.
“Good morning friends from me and Naia … He’s growing fast and getting comfy here at home. He also enjoys playing cat games on my phone,” the actress wrote in her tweet. “(Naia’s) current favorite spot: is my shoulder. Have a fun-filled Thursday! Stay safe.“

Last January 5, the actress shared that they saw a stray cat who kept on “meowing” as if it was asking for help. She also said that she was “scolded” by a passenger at the airport after “rescuing” the cat.

Jodi shared that it was raining when she found the cat at the airport at that time. She then decided to adopt the cat and named it “Naia” – named after the airport where the cat was found.
kasi pinigilan ko yung cart nya kasi nga madadaanan yung kuting. But I super understand naman kasi everyone was rushing to get home from their flights. Sabi ko lang “Manong pasensya na po may pusa po kasi. Then he told me “wag nyo kasing iwan kung saan-saan alaga nyo.” ..

In a separate tweet, Jodi shared that she went to the vet and she found out that Naia is a male cat. She added that Naia was “dewormed, cleaned, had his nails trimmed, and was given vitamins and meds” at that time.
