VALEEN MONTENEGRO – The Kapuso star recently took to social media to announce that she and her non-showbiz boyfriend Riel Manuel are officially engaged.
Valeen Montenegro recently shared the good news to her Instagram followers as she posted some memorable and sweet photos from the engagement day in her social media post.
According to her, her non-showbiz partner popped the question to her last Thursday, November 24.
“Easiest YES!!!” she wrote in the caption of her social media post. “What seemed to be an ordinary Thursday, unexpectedly turned into my favorite day. Ladies and Gentlemen.. my Beyoncé!”
Among those who congratulated the couple in the comments section were Tuesday Vargas, Kyline Alcantara, Carla Abellana, Ritz Azul, Chito Miranda, Glaiza de Castro, and Manilyn Reynes.

Her non-showbiz partner also shared more photos on his social media account, saying, “Literally keeps our feet on the ground.”
To recall, Valeen previously talked about her non-showbiz partner in an interview with Nelson Canlas, saying that Riel is the Director of Photography (DOP) in the advertising industry.
She also shared that she and her non-showbiz partner talked about leveling up their relationship – including getting married.
“Sa mga hindi nakakaalam, ang aking boyfriend ay isang DOP, Director of Photography sa advertising world. Meron kaming baby dog,” she said at that time. “Parang nandoon na, pa-climb na kayo ng stairs na alam n’yo kung saan din naman papunta. So I’m waiting, charot. Waiting.”
