ELHA NYMPHA – The singer reacted to a basher who called her “feeling maganda.”
Body shaming is defined as the act of making disparaging remarks about another person’s weight or size.
Celebrities are not immune to such obnoxious behavior.
Some are being chastised because their bodies have changed dramatically over the years. Even celebrities who are not particularly large are subjected to body shaming.
Elha Nympha is one such example.
Recently, she went to social media wherein she responded to a netizen who criticized her, telling her “feeling maganda.”
Instead of being irritated, Elha stated that she is beautiful as long as she is not placed next to Pia Wurtzbach.
Meanwhile, Elha Mae Fronda Nympha is a singer who rose to fame after winning the second season of The Voice Kids Philippines.
In the said singing competition, she took home the P1 million cash prize, a recording contract from MCA Music, a music instrument package, a family utility vehicle, a house and lot worth P2 million from Camella Homes, and a P1 million trust fund.
She started singing at the age of 3 and started joining a school competition at the age of 7.
She lived in Kamuning, near EDSA, GMA Building, and MRT-3 Kamuning station. She was selling banana cue to support herself and her family. Her mother, Lucy, noticed that Elha has a talent for singing.
Nympha is a member of the all-female vocal group New Gen Divas together with Janine Berdin, Sheena Belarmino and Fana.
