Here’s the reaction of Arnold Clavio on the Grand Prix escapade of President Bongbong Marcos in Singapore
ARNOLD CLAVIO – The broadcaster journalist commented on the trip to Singapore of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. to watch the F1 Grand Prix.
Over the weekend, PBBM traveled to Singapore to watch the Formula One (F1) Grand Prix, which was held at the Marina Bay Street Circuit in the city-state.
The president stated on Facebook that watching the expensive race made him more productive.
“They say that playing golf is the best way to drum up business, but I say it’s Formula 1. What a productive weekend!” he wrote in a social media post.
His recent travel to Singapore to watch the F1 Grand Prix generated reactions from netizens, politicians and even famous personalities.
On Instagram, Clavio shared his ’tilamsik’ on PBBM’s trip wherein he recalled the law that states that all government officials should live a simple life.
“Sinasaad na , “Public officials and employees shall at all times …. LEAD MODEST LIVES .” Klaro , mamuhay ng simple,” he noted.
Clavio stressed it would have been better to have seen Marcos in person helping those affected by Typhoon Karding.
The strongest typhoon yet to enter the country this year battered several parts of the Philippines, particularly Luzon leaving over billions in damages to infrastructure and agriculture.
Arnold Clavio also cited a comparison of Marcos Jr. to a father, who chose to be with a friend than care for his sickly wife and hungry children.
Malacañang has yet to give any reaction to the opinion of Clavio regarding the trip of PBBM to Singapore.
