Here’s what Tanya Bautista has to say about the exes of Vhong Navarro amid the controversy
TANYA BAUTISTA – The wife of Vhong Navarro shared that she was touched by the show of support from the exes of the actor-television host.
Navarro surrendered to NBI on September 19, 2022, in accordance with the Warrant of Arrest issued against him.
Vhong Navarro coordinated with the NBI through his legal counsel, expressing his intention to voluntarily surrender in relation to the Warrant of Arrest issued by the Metropolitan Trial Court (MTC) Branch 116, Taguig City, on September 15, 2022, for Acts of Lasciviousness. Bail was set at Php 36,000.00 in the aforementioned case.
The actor appeared before the NBI with his counsel at Vtech Tower, G. Araneta Avenue, Quezon City, to voluntarily submit himself to the custody of the NBI. He was then subjected to the Bureau’s standard operating procedure.
But in the afternoon of the same day, the Regional Trial Court Branch 69 in Taguig City issued another Warrant of Arrest for R*pe with no bail recommended.
The actor-TV host is currently being detained at the NBI-Security and Management Section (NBI-SMS).
In a recent interview with PEP.ph and other members of the press, Tanya Bautista, the wife of Vhong Navarro, shared that she was touched by the show of support from the exes of the actor-television host.
“Sobrang supportive,” she said when asked about the stand of Vhong Navaro’s exes on the situation.
“Alam mo, para kasi kaming family, e. So, siyempre, may time na mas focus ako kay Vhong,” she said referring to Vhong’s ex-wife Bianca Lapus and his non-showbiz ex-girlfriend.
“Talagang inaano nila, ‘Huwag kang mag-alala. The boys are okay,’ ganyan. Sila talaga constantly tsini-check kami,” she added.
Vhong’s eldest son Yce is his child with Lapus while Frederick is his son with a non-showbiz personality.
