Patch Magtanong and Joshua Cordoves are officially engaged
PATCH MAGTANONG AND JOSHUA CORDOVES — The couple recently took to social media to announce that they’re officially engaged.
Bea Patricia “Patch” Magtanong, a lawyer and a former beauty queen, graduated cum laude from the University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman with a degree in business economics. She also passed the Philippine Bar Examination last October 2018.
To recall, Bea was crowned Binibining Pilipinas 2019. She also represented the Philippines at the Miss International pageant held in Japan in the same year, wherein she became one of the top 8 finalists.
Model Joshua Cordoves, on the other hand, is the brother of Miss Grand International 2016 1st runner Nicole Cordoves. His sister is currently one of the judges in the “Miss Q&A” segment of “It’s Showtime”.

The two announced their engagement on Instagram last September 22 by sharing photos of the two of them together. Based on their social media post, it seems that the proposal happened in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
“They say deciding on a life partner is difficult, thank you for making it easy for me,” Joshua Cordoves wrote in the caption of his social media post last September 22.
Joshua’s sister posted a comment on his social media post, saying, “Welcome to our crazy family, Patch!”
Among those who congratulated the couple in the comments section were Laura Lehmann, Julia Morado, Samantha Bernardo, Lou Yanong, and Tim Yap.
