Morissette Amon: “Hindi muna namin in-announce agad kasi we just want it to have it within us and our circle”
MORISSETTE AMON — The singer recently shared more details about her wedding day.
Morissette shared why she and her husband, Dave Lamar, initially chose to keep their wedding a secret from the public after getting married.
She said in an interview on “Magandang Buhay” that she and Dave didn’t announce that they’re married right away because they “want it to have it within us and our circle”.
The singer also shared that she and her husband are yet to have a grand honeymoon as they weren’t able to travel outside the Philippines due to the coronavirus pandemic.
According to her, they originally planned to have an out-of-the-country honeymoon.
The singer also took a trip back on memory lane and recalled their wedding day.

She shared that it actually rained during their union. According to her, she and her partner had to delay their wedding for an hour to push through with the wedding.
“While I was walking down the aisle actually umuulan pa. Pero ang ganda sa video kasi nagi-sparkle ‘yung floor, parang magical, parang movie, parang nakaka-K drama,” she shared. “Pero one thing was sure sa akin na no matter what happens today ay itutuloy namin.“
It was last June 28 when Morissette and Dave celebrated their first wedding anniversary. The two wrote a message for each other to mark the occasion at that time.
