KC Concepcion: “Whatever will be, will be”
KC CONCEPCION — The actress and TV host recently spoke on the real score between her and “Black Eyed Peas” member apl.de.ap.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, the actress said that she takes relationships more seriously now that she’s in her 30s. KC even joked that hopefully she will tie the knot in 9 months.
“Dito sa States, ang hirap mag-date. Minsan akala mo serious, ‘yun pala casual lang pala. I’m in my 30s. I’m not going to lie, I definitely take relationships more seriously now,” she said.
She was also asked about the real score between her and apl.de.ap. In response, she said, “Whatever will be, will be. No, hindi kami.”

According to the actress, she and apl.de.ap were very close, she loves him, she respects him, she admires him, he makes her laugh, and he’s nice to her.
KC was one of the many Filipino celebrities who watched the 40th anniversary concert of Martin Nievera at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles last Sunday.
The actress was asked about the updates on the Hollywood movie she filmed with Filipino-American actor Dante Basco and director-producer Jhett Tolentino.
“Ini-edit na siya now. Baka January [ipalabas]. Nakakatawa yung pelikula, it’s about two people na nagdivorce and ayaw magbayad nung lalake. So naghahanap siya ng way na takasan yung babayaran niyang alemony. Ako yung asawa niya,” she said.
She also said that the producer has plans to submit the film in festivals in the United States and will be available for streaming or cinema showcase by January 2023.
KC moved back to Los Angeles and bonded with her mom, Sharon Cuneta, for about two to three weeks after staying in New York City for 5 months while filming the said movie.
Based on the report, KC will fly back to Manila “this week” to attend the 18th birthday of her sister Miel. The actress admitted that she also got surprised when her sister came out as queer two months ago.
