DARRYL YAP — The “Maid in Malacañang” director recently took to social media to share a message for actress Ella Cruz on her birthday.
Ella is celebrating her 26th birthday on Wednesday, August 17. She shared a photo of herself on her Stories to mark her special day.
To recall, Ella celebrated her 25th birthday last year with a surprise from her family and her boyfriend Julian Trono. At that time, she shared photos from her kiddie-themed party held at home.

The actress and singer recently starred as Irene Marcos in the drama-comedy film “Maid in Malacañang” — a film about the last 72 hours of the Marcos family in the Malacañang Palace.
She became viral because of her “history is like tsismis” remark when she was asked what she learned with her role.
On Wednesday, Darryl took to Facebook to share a message for Ella and also take a swipe at someone who is looking for someone who can do an “x-deal” for someone’s birthday party.
In the caption on his social media post, he said that she will look for a photographer and he will take charge on the payment.
Darryl’s post came after “Katips” director Vince Tañada said in a now-deleted Facebook post that he’s looking for a photographer who can do x-deals for his birthday party.
“Looking for a photographer who can do X Deals for my birthday party tonight. PM me!” Tañada said in his now-deleted post.
