Nadine Lustre: “I think he understands that it’s something that he cannot escape. It’s part of it. He’s okay with it.”
NADINE LUSTRE — The actress recently spoke about her relationship with her non-showbiz boyfriend, French businessman Christophe Bariou.
Nadine shared in an interview with Boy Abunda that she and Christophe met through their common friends when she went to visit Siargao last July 2021.
Since one of Nadine’s friends is working with Christophe, they asked if they could go to the secret beach spot near Christophe’s private resort and that’s when the two first met.
“My friends kasi were talking about him and they were saying na he’s really cute. When I saw him, I’m like ‘Okay fine, he’s actually kinda cute,’” she said when asked about her first impression of Christophe.

Nadine also shared that Christophe is half-French and half-Filipino and has been living in Siargao for 8 years now.
According to her, Christophe is comfortable about being in a relationship with a public personality, saying that her boyfriend was “getting used to it at least” and was “okay with it”.
The actress also revealed her future plans when it comes to her career.
“More movies and more music, business also,” she shared. “I am helping my mom with some of her businesses. I am learning. I can’t really say I am a businesswoman because there’s still a lot that I have to learn.”
Her last acting project was the movie “Greed” which was also headlined by actors Epy Quizon and Diego Loyzaga.
