Iya Villania shared the birth story of baby Astro
IYA VILLANIA — The TV host recently took to social media to share the birth story of her fourth child, baby Astro Phoenix Arellano.
After welcoming baby Astro, Iya shared all the details of what she described as her “longest and most painful delivery”.
Sharing a photo on Instagram, she shared that giving birth to her fourth child is “extra special” because it “will always remind me of how God took me thru ‘til the end even when I had given up”.
“So sorry about the delay guys… been meaning to post this but… mothering of 4 happened. Here’s Astro’s birthing video,” Iya wrote in the caption of her social media post. “Things started really slow and then shortly after my IE at 4pm, things happened REEEALLY fast. Wish we were able to catch everything but here’s what Drew managed to get.”
In “The Birth of Astro Phoenix Arellano” vlog, the TV host shared that baby Astro was her “first natural birth out of my [four] deliveries!”

She shared that she had always wanted to experience a natural birth but “the pain would get overwhelming”.
Iya Villania then took her supporters through the whole experience, explaining why it was different from her previous birthing experiences with her other children.
According to her, it was the first time that her water leaked, tested positive on her GBS swab, and went to the hospital without any contractions.
She also said that her experience allowed her to understand why a lot of mothers wanted to do it again and again.
“It was such an amazing moment! And from what I imagined to be a traumatic experience, I understand now why mothers still to choose to do it again! God is truly faithful to perform,” she said.
