Who is the man in the viral photo of Jason Hernandez?
MAC MERLA – The man beside Jason Hernandez in a viral photo has finally spoken up amid the latter’s split with estranged wife Moira dela Torre.
Amid Moira and Jason’s separation, a photo of the latter alongside a man that was taken inside an airport made a buzz online.
Apparently, the photo was swirled with criticism with some netizens linking it to the separation of Jason and Moira.
On Wednesday night, June 1, the man beside Jason resurfaces to share his side of the viral photo and address rumors revolving around it.
The man in the photos is named Mac Merla and is actually the handler of Moira and Jason at Cornerstone Entertainment Inc., which manages the couple’s career.
Merla issued a statement to clarify things and addressed people who are quick to believe such fake news.

Aside from Moira and Jason, Merla is also the handler of actor Alex Diaz.
Merla’s name was dragged into the issue after their photo together was first posted by so-called social media influencer Xian Gaza.
Meanwhile, it was just recently when Jason himself announce that he and Moira are separating after three years of being together as a wedded couple. They got married at a garden ceremony in Tagaytay on January 14, 2019.
In an official statement, Jason admitted that he became unfaithful to Moira. He later apologized to the people he hurt especially his estranged wife.
As of posting, Moira has not made a public statement regarding their split.
