The Philippines and the rest of the world are dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic for more than two (2) years now. This pandemic led to a financial crisis in PH, the deaths of a lot of people, and a “new normal” setting.
Quarantine measures had to be implemented by the government to fight the spread of COVID-19. Many businesses were allowed to operate depending on the quarantine measure. There are limitations.
Many businesses were not able to thrive amid the crisis and had no choice but to temporarily or permanently close. The PH economy greatly suffered from the crisis as well.
Meanwhile, the COVID-19 cases have dropped and most areas in the country are on the loosest alert level 1 measure now. However, the government continues to remind the public to keep on practicing the health protocols and not to be complacent as the pandemic is not over.
Recently, vaccine czar Carlito Galves Jr. announced that he tested positive for COVID-19. His statement came amid the rising cases of coronavirus in the country again.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. is undergoing a weekly RT-PCR test. It was on Sunday when he found out that he is positive for COVID-19.
Galvez shared that he is experiencing mild symptoms but he remains “high in spirits”. He stressed that he and his immediate family are fully vaccinated. They have also received their booster shots.
Currently, the vaccine czar and his immediate family are in isolation after he tested positive for COVID-19. Based on the report, he apologizes to everyone he had contact with in the last week and encourages them to undergo a test.
