Here’s the message of Harry Roque about Clarita Carlos
HARRY ROQUE – The former presidential spokesperson defended retired University of the Philippines Professor Clarita Carlos against her critics.
Carlos is a retired professor of political science at the University of the Philippines.
Carlos finished a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service at the University of the Philippines, where she also earned master’s and doctorate degrees in Political Science.
She pursued her post-doctoral work in Political psychology and Comparative Foreign Policy Analysis at Cornell University and the University of California at Los Angeles, respectively.
From 1988 to 1998, Carlos worked as a consultant in the Senate of the Philippines.
She also served as President of the National Defense College of the Philippines from 1998 to October 2001.
Since 1993, she has been a consultant for the Local Government Development Foundation.
Carlos has lectured at the National Defense University in the United States as well as at the Council of Asian Liberals & Democrats.
She is a recognized pioneer in Political Psychology in the country.
However, she’s being canceled because of her alleged support of presumptive president Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
This prompted Harry Roque to defend her against critics.
According to him, Carlos was his favorite teacher in all the universities he attended.
On the other hand, Carlos thank Harry Roque for defending her.
Meanwhile, Clarita Carlos was hurt after she learned that she had been removed from the roster of regular faculty members of her department with whom she served more than five decades.
