18-Year-Old Breakup Letter Inside Bottle Found In Misamis Occidental
A bottled breakup letter, which has been written 18 years ago in Ozamis City, Misamis Occidental.
The Facebook page “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho has shared the photos of a bottled breakup letter, which has been written 18 years ago. The post immediately goes viral online and elicits comments from the netizens.
A resident named Christian narrated that he was just trying clean their front yard when he found a broken bottle while digging a certain portion of the soil. He noticed a piece of paper with a ribbon inside the bottle.
Initially, Christian thought that it was just a wedding invitation but realized that it was a breakup letter upon reading it. The letter has been written by a woman named Shiela for her boyfriend Lorben.
In the letter, Shiela bids farewell to her boyfriend after fighting with her emotions because of her love for the latter. She wanted to focus on her study and prioritize the other aspects of her life.
Shiele has also expressed her extreme love for Lorben but she can’t bear her struggles anymore and decided to break up with her partner. The letter has been written 18 years ago or on June 29, 2004, to be exact.

“BREAK UP LETTER 18 TAON NA ANG NAKAKARAAN, NATAGPUAN SA LOOB NG ISANG BOTE SA OZAMIZ CITY, MISAMIS OCCIDENTAL
“Ibabaon ko na sa lupa ang alaala mo. Kahit ilang taon pa ang magdaan, I’m sure ‘di ito mawawala ‘pag ‘di rin nawawala ang feelings ko sa’yo. I love you and goodbye.” – Liham ni Shiela para kay Lorben (June 29, 2004)
