Alice Dixson: “Everybody knows na nandiyan siya but I didn’t really introduce her.”
ALICE DIXSON — The actress recently explained why she revealed her “panganay” or eldest daughter Sassa after a decade.
Alice recently shocked the world when she shared that she’s actually a mother of two.
She introduced her eldest daughter, who she said came into her life as a teenager “at least 10 years ago”. While her eldest daughter isn’t her biological daughter, she loves her all the same.
Alice said in an interview on “Updated with Nelson Canlas” that her eldest daughter has always been in the background — present in her social media photos and even accompanying her to GMA for work.
“Everybody knows na nandiyan siya but I didn’t really introduce her,” she said. “Last year, no’ng nagbanggit ako ng na I’m now a new mother, my baby had arrived, na-realize ko na teka muna kahit papaano naging mother din naman ako, hindi si Aura ang first ko. So I wanted just to acknowledge.“
It was last April 2021 when Alice first revealed being a mother to Aura. At that time, the actress shared that she has been praying for this every year on her birthday for 10 years.
Last May 2021, the actress introduced her baby Aura, who she welcomed through surrogacy.

Alice previously spoke about having difficulty in conceiving. According to her, she realized it wasn’t actually her first experience being a mother when people were greeting her a Happy Mother’s Day last year.
“I don’t wanna forget about Sassa,” she said. “That’s why this all came about. So hindi ko siya biological daughter, pero mahal ko pa rin siya all the same.”
