MAXINE MEDINA — The beauty queen-turned-actress recently took to social media to share that she and her boyfriend Timmy Llana are now engaged.
Maxine’s boyfriend proposed to her as they celebrated her birthday in advance in Coron, Palawan. The beauty queen-turned-actress will be turning 32 this coming May.
She shared the news with her 854,000 followers on Instagram as she posted photos and videos of Timmy’s surprise proposal and her huge engagement ring.
Maxine’s fellow beauty queens Rachel Peters, Katarina Rodriguez, Samantha Bernardo, Nicole Cordoves, Winwyn Marquez, Bianca Manalo, MJ Lastimosa, Ariella Arida, Miriam Quimbao, and Laura Lehman were among those who quickly congratulated her on her engagement.
She and Timmy have been together for nearly four years. Maxine first admitted her relationship with her now-fiancé in 2019.

Previously on “Magandang Buhay”, the actress shared that she and Timmy have known each other even before she represented the country in the Miss Universe pageant back in 2016.
“Sabi nila kasi kapag sobrang friends kayo before… kasi he’s been there for me for such a long time,” Maxine said at that time. “Every time na may problem ako, magsasabi ako sa kanya, nakikinig lang siya. Tapos gusto ko ng alone time, tatawagan niya ‘ko, ‘Nasan ka? Kumusta ka?’ Ganun siya.“
In Maxine’s anniversary message for Timmy last June 2021, she credited her partner for helping her mature and become a better person.
