FAKE BOOKING – A kind lady earns praises online after helping a delivery rider victimized by a fake booking.
Over the past few years, a lot of delivery workers are complaining against customers who were canceling orders and making fake bookings. The riders usually pay for the unpaid order and received no compensation at all.
The government and the delivery firms are already taking necessary actions to protect the riders from those schemes.
A Facebook user named Rej Laurencio has shared the photos of a poor delivery rider who has been victimized by fake booking. The post circulates online and garnered praises from the netizens.
Laurencio said that her colleague left their parking card at the car so she had no choice but to wait. While waiting for her colleague, a Food Panda rider approached her and try to sell some goods.
The delivery employee revealed that he was victimized by fake booking. He already sold the other meals and asked the woman to buy the remaining chicken and pizza. However, the lady think first before making a decision knowing that she had a tight budget.
After a few moments, the kind-hearted woman purchased the meals without any hesitation and the delivery rider bursts into tears while expressing his gratefulness to her.
The kind woman urged the public to stop fake booking and consider the situation of the delivery workers enduring the scorching heat of the sun and inclement weather condition.

I was with Axl kasi naiwan ni IG Roys yung parking card sa car so binalikan niya medyo nainis pa ako kasi ang init. Sabi ko may purpose pala bat naiwan niya yun kasi kung hindi di kami mag kikita ni kuya Rider. Lumapit siya sakin umiiyak siya pawis na pawis
Him: Ma’am baka pwede tulungan niyo ako kanina pa ako paikot ikot nabiktima po ako ng fake booking. Nabenta ko na po yung iba ang natira nalang isang box ng chicken and pizza

Ps: may nababasa ako na post about food panda scam and pwede daw isoli but whatever the real situation I did my part to help and pinost ko to for those riders na nag ttrabaho ng maayos para sa pamilya nila kaya sana wag natin silang biktimahin. ”
