Jewel Mische reflected on the changes in her relationship with her husband.
JEWEL MISCHE — The former actress recently took to social media to reflect on the changes in her relationship with her husband Alex Kurzer.
Jewel and Alex got married in 2015 and have 3 kids named Emerald, Aislah, and baby Yzbel. The former actress took to Instagram to reveal the truth about her marriage to her husband.
According to her Instagram post, there are numerous changes in her relationship with her husband now that they have 3 daughters. In her video post, she revealed that she didn’t get butterflies in her stomach when she saw her husband, like when she did when they first met.
She shared that her greetings with her husband after work usually include two screaming children and a baby in her arms and them saying “hello” through the chaos.
According to her, she didn’t lie awake at night with a smile plastered to her face thinking about her husband like she did when they were dating.
Jewel also revealed how they’re working on their relationship while nurturing their children.
“Our life is not the romance you would see in a chick flick with lavish dates and alone time. It was a lot more like that when we didn’t have kids,” Jewel said. “Now it’s a lot of cleaning our house, taking the kids here and there, keeping the household running, and just all around trying to make the best life for each other.“

The former admitted her realizations and how she truly feels now that she’s a wife and a parent.
According to her, back then she didn’t know that their relationship would be the place that would feel most like home — the place she can break down and know she’ll be met with hugs and prayers.
“It’s having a commitment to our very best friend to do the good, bad, fun, and absolutely terrible times with. It’s knowing you’d never want someone else in their place. It’s messy but it’s real love,” Jewel said.
For her, her relationship with her husband is what she calls the greatest gift.
