In a sideline interview, Sharon Cuneta expressed her support to the senator who is now spending her fifth year in detention.
The actress-singer is hoping that De Lima, who is running for senator, will be freed.
“We really miss you out here. We need you more out here. You can do so much more out here. And we keep praying that you be allowed out soon or that you are out, somehow by God’s grace and never-ending mercy,” she said.
De Lima has yet to respond to Sharon’s message.
