The Miss Universe Philippines is now accepting applications for 2022 aspiring contestants.
The Miss Universe Philippines announced on Tuesday that they’re now accepting applications for 2022 aspiring contestants.
Headed by Binibining Pilipinas 2011 Shamcey Supsup-Lee, the Miss Universe Philippines selects the country’s official representative to the prestigious pageant.
“Follow the footsteps of your favorite Miss Universe Philippines queens and start a queendom of your own! The application process for the most prestigious pageant in the country is now officially open!” Miss Universe PH said in the caption on its social media post.
Based on the qualifications released by the Miss Universe PH on social media, aspiring candidates must be female, at least 18 and under 28 years of age at the time of the Miss Universe PH pageant.

A qualified candidate must be a Filipino citizen and a Philippine passport holder. Also, aspiring contestants must have never been married and never have been pregnant.
Aspiring candidates who are interested to apply must fill out the 2022 contestant application form which can be downloaded here. The accomplished copy must be sent to [email protected] not later than February 15, 2022, 11:59 pm.
The coronation night will happen on April 30, 2022. Current Miss Universe Philippines Beatrice Gomez will be crowning her successor.
It was last December 2021 when the beauty queen competed in the Miss Universe pageant in Israel and made it to the top 5.
