Isko Moreno: “Nung konsehal ako, nagpupunta ako ng casino”
ISKO MORENO – The Manila mayor and presidential candidate admitted that when he was a councilor representing Tondo, he used to go to casinos.
Moreno will run for the highest government position alongside his running mate Doc Willie Ong.
They will go against the tandem of; Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, Senator Manny Pacquiao and Buhay partylist representative, Lito Atienza as well as Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson and Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto III.
In an interview via Super Radyo dzBB’s “Ikaw Na Ba? The Presidential Interviews, he admitted that when he was a councilor representing Tondo, he used to go to casinos.
“Nung konsehal ako, nagpupunta ako ng casino lalo na nung napa-oposisyon ako. Nung naging opposition ako, syempre wala na akong halos resources. Meron akong nabarkadang Hapon na aking sinasamahan gabi gabi sa iba’t ibang lugar sa Maynila,” he said.
But according to him, his relationship with foreigners paved the way for him to establish a daycare center that benefited the residents of Tondo.
Isko Moreno clarified that he goes to casinos in hotels and not necessarily in regular casinos.
When asked if he has any vices, Isko Moreno revealed that he started smoking cigarettes when he was 18-years-old but when he acquired coronavirus, he decided to shift to using IQOS, an electronic device that heats tobacco instead of burning it.
The presidential candidate also noted that he is not a drunkard and not into drugs.
