EMPRESS SCHUCK — The actress woke up to a birthday surprise from her family as she celebrated her 29th birthday.
Empress celebrated her 29th birthday last Sunday, February 20. To mark the occasion, she shared a family photo on her Instagram account.
As seen in her Instagram post, Empress was surprised with a bouquet of flowers, a birthday cake, balloons, and a handwritten card by her husband Vino Guingona and their daughter Athalia.
“Woke up to the best surprise. Happiest girl here,” Empress wrote.
The actress is currently part of the ABS-CBN primetime series “The Broken Marriage Vow” — a Philippine remake of the BBC award-winning drama “Doctor Foster”.
Based on a report on PUSH, the said show followed the story of a trusted doctor whose life was torn apart when she suspected her husband of having an affair with another woman.
Empress played the role of “Grace Jimenez” in the series, the secretary of “David Ilustre”, portrayed by actor Zanjoe Marudo.
Also starring Sue Ramirez and Jodi Sta. Maria, the show airs weeknights through Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, CineMo, TV5, WeTV, iWant TFC, and iflix.

Empress and Vino welcomed their daughter in September 2015 and tied the knot in Tagaytay last March 7, 2021.
To recall, Empress shared last September 2020 that her partner already had the engagement ring two months ago and he didn’t know when to do it at that time.
According to her, her partner woke up and felt that it was the right time for him to pop the question to her on that day.
“When I said yes, you hugged me right away and forgot to put the ring on haha which I think is sweet cos the ring didn’t matter. What mattered the most was my answer,” Empress shared at that time.
