Catriona Gray shared a message for her father on his birthday.
CATRIONA GRAY — The Miss Universe 2018 titleholder recently took to social media to share a message for her father Ian Gray on his birthday.
Sharing photos of her and her father together on her Instagram account, Catriona remarked that she’s looking forward to spending time again with her father.
She also expressed her gratitude for her father’s support throughout the years.
“Happy Birthday to my forever young papa bear!! Can’t wait to be with you again,” Catriona wrote. “I’m so grateful to have such a wise, intentional and strong father like you, always cheering me on, always telling me I can do it…always telling me how proud you are of me.“
Catriona also expressed her love for her father, saying that she “can’t wait to celebrate with you over a big meal and a good glass of wine!”

Her father Ian and her mother Normita Magnayon-Gray resided in Australia. Catriona was reunited with her parents in Australia last May 2021 after being apart for more than a year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“1 year and 4 months later… Finally reunited with my mama and papa bear. Family is everything. Thank you God for answering my prayers,” Catriona said on her social media account last May 2021.
Last year, she explained how she managed to go to Australia despite its borders have been closed at that time. According to her, she was subject to travel ban exemption and so she came to Australia at that time.
