Steffi Rose Aberasturi Shares Engagement Story: ‘I was the one in for a big surprise!’
STEFFI ROSE ABERASTURI – Miss Universe Philippines 2021 2nd runner-up Steffi Rose Aberasturi shared how her longtime boyfriend asked her to marry him.
Steffi Rose Aberasturi is a Filipina entrepreneur, model, Youtuber, social media star, and beauty pageant winner. She is famously known as the 2nd runner-up of Miss Universe Philippines 2021. She’s considered one of the most promising beauty queens in Cebu.
Lots of people expect that she will win the said local pageant. Apart from this, she has won several beauty pageant competitions.
At the age of 16, Steffi Rose Aberasturi was named ‘Sinulog Festival Queen’ in 2011. Since then, Steffi has won 6 more titles – Miss IPI 2012, Miss Campus Femme 2012, Miss Mandaue 2013, Reyna ng Aliwan 2014, Miss Beauche International 2015, and Binibining Cebu 2018.
Moreover, Steffi is also an entrepreneur. She owns an online clothing brand and gives a skincare routine.

Steffi Rose Aberasturi is now engaged to her long-time boyfriend, Karl Arcenas. She uploaded photos and videos of her engagement party on her IG stories.
Based on her IG stories on Sunday, Steffi was wearing a white floor-length summer dress when her beau popped the question. The 27-year-old beauty queen also shared a photo of her diamond ring.
On her IG account on Monday, January 24, 2022, Steffi Rose Aberasturi gave details about her engagement to Karl Arcenas. She shared how Karl’s birthday celebration led to a proposal.
She said as Karl thanked the people who supported him, his tone changed a bit and she never thought that it would go to a marriage proposal.
“When he gave a birthday speech and started thanking people, including me, naka ingon ko “ka-sweet ba ani akong uyab uy”. But then his speech got longer and progressed to a more serious tone. I thought I was getting pranked or something but then he eventually knelt on one knee and proposed. I was taken by surprise and overjoyed,” she wrote.
