Anthony Taberna: “Eh ‘di tapatin n’yo na ‘yung nag-iinterview kaysa sisiraan n’yo pa na biased”
ANTHONY TABERNA – The broadcast journalist and TV host slammed the camp of presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong”.
Earlier, GMA News and Public Affairs invited the top five presidential aspirants (Leni Robredo, Bongbong Marcos, Manny Pacquiao, Ping Lacson and Isko Moreno) for The Jessica Soho Presidential Interviews that aired on Saturday, January 22, at 6:15 p.m., on GMA.
In a sneak-peek of the said interview aired on 24 Oras, Jessica asked the presidential candidates about their positions on important issues of the country as well as their platform.
Jessica didn’t miss the specific controversies thrown at them- human rights violations against Ping, being a traditional politician to Isko, being corrupt to Manny, and porridge (lugaw) to Leni.
Obviously, Marcos Jr. was not present in the interview. His camp issued a statement why the son of former President Ferdinand Marcos did not attend the interview.
According to Marcos’ camp, Jessica Soho is “biased.”
Meanwhile, Anthony “Ka Tunying” Taberna did not mince words while lambasting the camp of Bongbong Marcos for calling the latter, “biased.”
In his live video on Sunday, January 24, the former Kapamilya host said that it’s okay even if a presidential aspirant decline to attend an interview such as “The Presidential Interviews” of Soho.
Taberna cited for example “The King” Fernando Poe Jr. who did not go to any debate when he was running for President.
But he did not like Marcos camp’s reason for their presidential bet not to attend the said interview.
“Okay naman sana pero tingin ko ‘di tamang katwiran ‘yung biased si Jessica Soho. Wala sa hulog ‘yung pangangatwiran na ‘yun. Sabihin n’yo na lang na ayaw n’yong magpa-interview, tapos!” he said.
Bongbong Marcos himself has recently cleared that what they meant biased is “anti-Marcos.”
