More and more people got hooked to biking. Many bikers do not only treat it as a form of leisure or pastime but also an opportunity to invest in health. It can be an excellent exercise that is coupled with enjoyment and the opportunities to meet new people.
Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, a lot of individuals turned to biking rather than commuting to work most especially those whose work is just a few minutes away from their residence. For other people, a part of their weekends is alloted for the said activity.
In Makati, a National Bicycle Day was recently held. The same event was held in other parts of the country where there are also several bikes. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, amid the event, a bike was stolen.
According to the report, barangay peacekeeping and safety officers noticed a man with a bike that still has a locked chain on it. He was walking along the corner of Hilario and Dayap streets in Barangay Palanan. The barangay peacekeeping and safety officers wondered why the bicycle still has a chain.
