Oyo Boy Sotto recalled Vic Sotto’s advice on his wedding day.
Oyo Boy Sotto on Tuesday recalled the advice given by his father, Vic Sotto, to him on the day of his wedding to Kristine Hermosa.
Oyo was asked in an interview with the press for “Daddy’s Gurl” via Zoom about the advice his father had given to him that he wouldn’t forget.
“Ang pinaka-hindi ko makakalimutan na advice ni Daddy nung wedding namin ni Kristine, sabi niya ‘ang pinaka-advice na mabibigay ko sa ‘yo, ‘wag mo lang ako gagayahin, OK ka,’” Oyo told entertainment reporter Gorgy Rula who asked the question about the advice his father had given to him.
Vic Sotto was also present at the virtual press conference.
Oyo Boy also shared that he’s grateful for the relationship he had with his father at the moment.

Vic Sotto was asked at the latter part of the interview with the press if he thought Pauleen was the one.
“Oo naman sa edad kong ito. Alangan naman,” Vic said in response to the question.
Kristine and Oyo Boy got married in 2011, welcomed their first biological child, and adopted their eldest son in the same year. It was last August when Oyo Boy and Kristine welcomed their fifth child Vittorio Isaac.
Danica and Oyo were Vic Sotto’s children with Dina Bonnevie, while Paulina was his daughter with Angela Luz.
Meanwhile, Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto was his son with Coney Reyes. Vic Sotto’s youngest daughter, Talitha, was his daughter with his wife Pauleen Luna.
Oyo Boy and Vic were co-stars in “Daddy’s Gurl” along other celebrities including Wally Bayola, Maine Mendoza, and Angelika dela Cruz.
GMA News Online reported that new cast members will be joining “Daddy’s Gurl,” which will premiere new episodes on October 23, including Prince Carlos, Prince Clemente, Carlo San Juan, and Jem Manicad.
Directed by Chris Martinez, “Daddy’s Gurl” will be celebrating its 3rd anniversary this month.
