“Parokya ni Edgar” frontman Chito Miranda recently took to social media as he and his wife Neri welcomed their second baby.
Chito and Neri Miranda finally welcomed the newest member of their family five months after announcing that they’re expecting a second child.
On Friday, Chito officially announced that his wife had given birth but didn’t include more details about her delivery.
Sharing a photo of his wife in the delivery room and their new baby on his Instagram account, he revealed their baby’s name, Manuel Alfonso, and his nickname, “Cash”.

Some of their friends in the showbiz industry were among the first to congratulate the couple — including Iya Villania, Melissa Ricks, Sitti Navarro, Jugs Jugueta, Nene Tamayo, Bubbles Paraiso, Paolo Paraiso, and Ryan Eigenmann.
Kaye Abad, Chito Miranda’s ex-girlfriend who gave birth to her 2nd child with her husband Paul Jake Castillo last month, also congratulated the couple as she commented on Chito’s Instagram post as well.
Chito initially wished for a baby girl and would have named her Margarita or “Maggie”, but it was unveiled during their “gender reveal” that they’re expecting a baby boy.
Chito and Neri first met online before getting married in 2014. The couple initially had a civil ceremony followed by a garden wedding in Tagaytay the following day.
Last 2016, Neri Miranda gave birth to their eldest son, Miguel Alfonso. He will turn five years old next month.
