Companion of Mahal Speaks on Comedienne’s Final Moments

MAHAL – Mygz Molino, the companion of the late comedienne, counted the happenings before her death last August 31, 2021.

One of the celebrity deaths that shocked a lot of people this month was the unexpected passing of comedienne Mahal. She is one of the most popular comedians in the Philippine showbiz industry.

Noemi Tesorero in real-life, the comedienne was part of several hit films including the movies Small and Terrible, Anak ni Janice, Kokey, Mr. Suave, Utang ng Ama, Pasukob, and Gigolo.

Many like her for her talent in making people laugh and her giggly personality. She was born with Dwarfism, a condition that prevented her from growing in terms of height.

It is no secret to the public that Mahal was born to a wealthy family. She is the daughter of Romy Tesorero. Not much is known about her biological mother but the public knows she has a stepmother, Josefa.

Despite being rich, she still insisted to work. Her condition was also not able to stop her from pursuing her dreams to be a part of the showbiz industry. Her supportive grandmother was the one who chose the screen name for her.

However, last August 31, at the age of 46 years old, the comedienne died. The cause of her death was digestive problems and COVID-19.

Mahal's Cause of Death

For several months prior to her death, Mahal was usually seen with vlogger and Indie actor Mygz Molino. He was the companion of the comedienne in the ups and downs of her life most especially when her father died.

According to Mygz, the comedienne was in low spirits since August 5 because of the death of her father. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, he shared that she’s usually quiet and would abruptly talk about her father as she remembers him.

Mahal’s companion stressed that she was greatly affected by the death of her father. According to Mygz, by August 25, she started to feel unwell. She had a fever and cough.

The comedienne recovered from August 28 but she continued to isolate herself. However, in August 29, she started to develop flu-like symptoms again but she did not lost her sense of taste and smell.

When August 30 came, Mahal asked for medicines that will help her expel phlegm. She was having a fever then but she rested that night. The following day, the comedienne experienced breathing difficulties thus she was brought to the hospital. Sadly, according to Mygz Molino, just hours after she was admitted, she passed away.
