Police Finds Hollywood Actor Michael Williams Dead in New York Apartment
HOLLYWOOD ACTOR MICHAEL WILLIAMS – The authorities found the “The Wire” actor dead in his apartment in New York.
Many of the most popular people in the world are prominent because of their showbiz careers. They starred the biggest projects that hooked a lot of people and made their acting talent shine.
Some stars are successful on a national level while others achieved international heights. One of those who reached the latter is Hollywood actor Michael Williams.
Born on November 22, 1966, the real and complete name of Michael is Michael Kenneth Williams. He is most known for his role in the drama series The Wire. He played the character of Omar Little.
Williams also played a big role in the telefilm biopic Bessie wherein he played the husband of the main star, Bessie Smith. He was Jack Gee in the film.
He is one of the best actors in the field. Throughout his career, he was nominated several times by Primetime Emmy Award. Among these are three (3) Oustanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Movie nomination, one (1) nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, and one (1) Outstanding Informational Series nomination.
However, recently, a heartbreaking update about Hollywood actor Michael Williams crossed the surface. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, The Wire actor was found dead in his apartment in New York.
The death of the 54-year-old actor was confirmed by the New York Police Department. According to NYPD spokesman Lieutenant John Grimpel, the operators of the emergency phone call received a call and the actor was found dead at around 2:00 p.m.
Currently, the investigation over the death of Williams is ongoing. The New York City medical examiner would also identify the cause of the actor’s death. More updates may be posted soon.
