Paulo Avelino: “Meron lang akong nadaanan before na pinapakulam daw ako.”
PAULO AVELINO – The actor revealed in an interview with G3 San Diego that he was “ipinakulam” or bewitched by an angry fan.
It was just recently when he launched an “e-numan” session.
According to him, he’s bored because of the pandemic that’s why he took to social media to ask people who would like to join him in an online inuman session.
He admitted that aside from working out, drinking wine and beer has been his past time amid the lockdown.
This helped him boost his confidence to interact with netizens.
When asked how was his experience upon interacting with his social media followers, he said: “Tame naman yung mga Paunatics. Meron lang akong nadaanan before na pinapakulam daw ako. Bale parang di naman effective. Kulam as in galit yata na kulam.”
But he believes that the “kulam” thing was just for fun that’s why it wasn’t effective.
When asked if he could possibly fall in love with a fan, he said: “Well di malabong mangyari.”
Paulo Avelino began his career in the entertainment industry when he joined the reality talent show StarStruck in 2006.
He then ventured into acting and has done numerous films and television shows such as Walang Hanggan (2012), Honesto (2013), Bridges of Love
Among his titular portrayal is via the movie, Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral in 2018.
In 2020, he starred in the movie Fan Girl In 2020, he starred in the movie Fan Girl alongside Charlie Dizon which earned him the Best Actor Award for Metro Manila Film Festival.
At present, he’s gearing up for the series Marry Me, Marry You which will premiere this coming September 2021, replacing Init sa Magdamag starring Janine Gutierrez.
It centers on the story about a couple who navigates the traditional expectations attached to marriage that extends beyond one’s partner including their family and friends.
Before working on Marry Me, Marry You, Paulo last appeared on television via the now-defunct series, Walang Hanggang Paalam.
