Broadcast journalist Korina Sanchez recently took to social media as she shared that she revealed her plans for a travel vlog series.
Korina was marking a milestone as a YouTube content creator after receiving a Silver Play Button from the video-sharing platform. Posing with her Silver Play Button, Korina expressed her gratitude and also revealed plans for a travel vlog series titled “#DiscoveryWithK”.
Her new content will show her traveling to Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao to inform and to entertain viewers who were stuck at home due to the pandemic.
“Sagot na namin ang lakwatsa as we discover some of the most amazing spaces and places we’ve never been to and seen before,” Korina said.
With her latest achievement, Korina joined the likes of Julia Barretto, Loisa Andalio, Judy Ann Santos, Angeline Quinto, and Karla Estrada, among others, as recipients of Silver Play Button. The said award was given to YouTube accounts with 100,000 subscribers on the platform.
As of this writing, Korina’s YouTube channel already had more than 400,000 subscribers.

This wasn’t the first time Korina posted on Instagram a photo of herself holding her Silver Play Button.
Last August 6, 2020, she shared that she received her Silver Play Button for her swift target of reaching 100,000 subscribers on “Rated Korina” YouTube channel.
Meanwhile, YouTube has given the Gold Play Button (1 million subscribers) and Diamond Play Button (10 million subscribers) to celebrities like Andi Eigenmann and Alex Gonzaga, respectively.
