Jasmine Curtis-Smith got her dose of COVID-19 vaccine
Actress Jasmine Curtis-Smith recently took to social media as she shared that she received her dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
On Friday, Jasmine shared an update on her Instagram account with a photo of herself with a bandage on her upper arm.
“Vaccinated,” Jasmine said in her Instagram post.
According to her, she’s thankfully able to get vaccinated against COVID-19 before going into mandatory quarantine for their lock-in taping.
“I have been so eager for this opportunity because I have asthma and also work in an industry that does require us to take off our masks and have face-to-face interactions. This is the extra step that I believe I can take to protect myself,” Jasmine shared.

Jasmine also said that she understood “those who may have their own anxieties about taking this step”. However, she added that she also understood the pain of losing someone and the struggles that came along with the burdens of dealing with COVID-19.
The actress ended her caption on her Instagram post by thanking medical frontliners for their “endless and passionate service”, the local government units for making the vaccines accessible, and “the countries that have donated to the Philippines”.
Jasmine was among the many celebrities and showbiz industry workers who had been vaccinated against COVID-19.
