“Sa ngayon, via video call muna ang family kumustahan nang malaman naming positive sa covid-19 si Vice Mayor Baste. Get well soon Vice! Smile,” Mayor Sara said.
Based on her post, Mayor Sara had a video call with her mother Elizabeth Zimmerman, father President Rodrigo Duterte, and brothers Davao City Vice Mayor Sebastian Duterte and Davao City First District Representative Paolo Duterte.
Over the weekend, Mayor Sara assured residents in Davao that local government services remained uninterrupted with the help of the Davao Vice Mayor. She then issued the statement after being criticized for her recent trips to other regions amidst the increasing cases of COVID-19 in Davao.
