On Tuesday, Senator Pacquiao said in a statement that he accepted the challenge of President Duterte and thanked the President for giving him the opportunity to help him and to give him information for his anti-corruption campaign.]

Senator Pacquiao then told President Duterte that he was neither a “liar” nor “corrupt”.

Moreover, Senator Pacquiao said that it was said that he and President Duterte had been arguing over corruption when it was a problem should they could work on together.

According to him, it’s saddening that they’re arguing over the issue of corruption because what the Philippines needed were leaders who will work together against this.

Senator Pacquiao’s statement came a day after President Duterte called him out for criticizing the administration for the alleged proliferation of graft.
