Quite a number of companies had pulled out of a physical attendance of this year’s edition of MWC and among them was Samsung.

While Samsung won’t be holding an in-person event or exhibiting any of its products, there will be a virtual launch event whose launch date had been revealed.

The Samsung Galaxy MWC Virtual Event was scheduled for June 28, 2021, and the event will be live-streamed on the official MWC website and on Samsung’s YouTube channel beginning starting 7:15pm CET.

Samsung said in a press release that the company will introduce “the ever-expanding Galaxy device ecosystem” and will also reveal its vision for the future of smartwatches.

There’s a possibility that the company will give a glimpse of its new products ahead of its “Galaxy Unpacked” launch event in August this year.

Gizmochina reported that Samsung’s product lineup for the second half of this year included the Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy Watch 4, Galaxy Watch Active 4, Galaxy Z Fold 3, and the Galaxy Buds 2.
