The Bureau of Customs – Port of NAIA (BOC-NAIA) had cleared the latest importations of COVID-19 vaccines totalling 3,074,410 COVID-19 vaccine doses, which arrived between June 9 and 10.

The first importation consisting of 111,150 Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine doses arrived at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2 last June 9 at around 8:30 pm via flight AHK457/LD457.

Upon arrival, the vaccines were immediately transferred in the designated cold storage facility pending its delivery to Davao through domestic flight.

The second importation of COVID-19 vaccines consisting of one million Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine doses arrived last June 10 at around 7:20 am via flight 5J 671 from Beijing, China.

Upon arrival, the vaccines were immediately taken to the Pharmaserv cold storage facility in Marikina City.

Lastly, another 1,963,260 Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine doses arrived later that day at 8:30 pm at NAIA Terminal 3 aboard flight AHK457/LD457.

A portion of the said shipment was assigned to a cold storage facility prior to its domestic flight to Davao, while the rest were sent to three different cold chain storage facilities or warehouses in Metro Manila.

Meanwhile, an additional 100,000 Sputnik V COVID-19 vaccine doses were set to arrive at NAIA at around 11 pm on June 11.
