Tootsie Guevarra: “Siyempre ang showbiz nami-miss ko”
TOOTSIE GUEVARRA – The ’90s OPM singer admitted during her guesting on Magandang Buhay via Zoom that she misses showbiz.
Tootsie rose to fame with her hit singles; “Sa Puso Ko,” “Pasulyap-Sulyap,” “Nang Dahil sa Pag-Ibig” and “Kaba.”
It was in 2004 when she left the Philippines to be with her family in the United States.
At present, she’s staying at the Big Bear, California.
She’s married to an Italian man and they already have two kids; a 7-year-old and a 5-year-old.
But Tootsie Guevarra admitted that she missed the show business.
“Marami (akong nami-miss). My relativeS, Pasko, New Year. Iba kasi diyan ang holidays eh. Kayo, siyempre ang showbiz nami-miss ko. A lot of people are asking, maraming mga Filipino dito lalo na sa industry, sa trabaho ko kasi I’m in healthcare, maraming mga Filipino dito, almost everyday they ask me because my co-worker sinasabi nila ‘paano mo na give up ‘yon and all the stuff?’ So nami-miss ko kayong lahat diyan,” she said.
Tootsie Guevarra insisted that she’s happy with where she’s right now.
She’s also open to coming back to the entertainment industry if given a chance.
