Miss Grand International first runner-up Samantha Bernardo finally returned to the Philippines after spending more than two months in Thailand.
The Philippines’ representative in the Miss Grand International pageant was “beyond grateful” for the warmth and hospitality she had received from the Miss Grand International organization, saying that she had the “best time” of her life with them.
On Wednesday night, she shared a photo of herself with Miss Grand International president Nawat Itsaragrisil. “This is not a goodbye, just hello and see you soon!” Samantha said.

In a separate post showing a photo of herself in her pre-departure outfit, she hinted: “Great things are yet to come.“
Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. on Thursday morning shared a video of Bernardo addressing the national organization’s founder, Stella Marquez-Araneta, as she marked her return to Manila.
“Thank you so much for all the love and support of Bb. Pilipinas headed by you, and for giving me the opportunity to represent the Philippines. It’s such an honor and privilege, and this is like a graduation for me in pageantry,” Samantha said.
According to her, they have been taken care of by Mr. Nawat and Ms. Teresa, and all the Miss Grand International staff were all so kind to her.
She also said that she hoped this can mend all the conflicts in the past and also hoped the next Miss Philippines can really win the Miss Grand International crown.
