HBO Max revealed that Justin Bieber, BTS, and more famous personalities will appear on “Friends: The Reunion” special, which was set to air on May 27, 2021.
The details of the highly-anticipated reunion special of “Friends” had been revealed by international reports as HBO Max officially released its official teaser on its YouTube channel on Thursday, May 13.
Starring Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, Lisa Kudrow, and David Schwimmer, the teaser’s video description stated that the reunion special will air on May 27 only on HBO Max.

Based on a report on The Hollywood Reporter, famous personalities — including Justin Bieber, David Beckham, BTS, and James Corden, among others — were set to make guest appearances on the said show.

Describing the upcoming “Friends: The Reunion” special, The Hollywood Reporter — in an article published last year — quoted HBO Max:
“The cast and producers are all very excited to go into production, as this will be the first time since the show ended that the whole cast will be together, and on the original sets to reminisce. There are loads of great surprises in store and lots of rare behind-the-scenes footage they are eager to share.“
The said statement also clarified that the reunion special was “not a new, original episode of the series”, adding that the cast will be “appearing as themselves” and not as their beloved characters.
“Friends” was a long-running American sitcom, spanning 10 seasons having aired from 1994 to 2004.
