“Bagong Umaga” star Sunshine Cruz recently recounted her experience after testing positive for coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
In an interview on “Magandang Buhay” last Tuesday, the actress admitted that it wasn’t easy for her to fight COVID-19 by herself.
Sunshine shared that it’s hard because she had to isolate herself for 21 days, adding that she lost 10 pounds while isolating herself at home.
However, she shared that she’s very thankful that she’s able to survive the presence of COVID-19 inside her house, isolated, and no one was even infected.

Meanwhile, the actress was also grateful to her boyfriend Macky Mathay for taking care of her when she fell ill at that time.
According to her, Macky was the one who always sent food to her when she got sick and he’s also the one who looked for a medicine that was out of stock when she needed it.
“Nung nagkasakit ako, siya ‘yung nagpapadala lagi ng food. ‘Pag may kailangan akong gamot na out of stock, siya ‘yung naghahanap,” Sunshine shared.
