Miss Eco International revealed the COVID-19 test result of Kelley Day.
Miss Eco International recently took to social media as the organization revealed the COVID-19 test result of Miss Eco International 1st runner-up Kelley Day.
Kelley Day was the representative of the Philippines at the Miss Eco International pageant held last April 5 in Egypt.
During the course of the said pageant, rumors reportedly circulated that some candidates — including Kelley — had contracted the coronavirus disease.
On Instagram, Miss Eco International happily announced last April 14 that Kelley had tested “negative” for COVID-19. However, the organization said that Kelley had to stay in Egypt first due to the quarantine protocols in the Philippines.
“Miss Eco Philippines Tested negative yesterday While she will stay In egypt till she go back Home Due the lockdown Of the Philippines @msworldphil” Miss Eco International stated in a post on Instagram Stories.
In a separate post on Instagram Stories, the organization shared a photo showing the COVID-19 test result of Miss Eco International 1st runner-up Kelley Day.

Meanwhile, Miss World Philippines organization had earlier assured that they would closely monitor Kelley’s condition while she’s in Egypt, adding that they also ensured her safety against COVID-19.
However, Japan had condemned the alleged negligence of Miss Eco International to protect the safety and health of the candidates who participated in the recently concluded competition. As a result, they will no longer send a representative to the said pageant.
