John Walker Actor Russel Wyatt Receives Death Threats For Role As Captain America
JOHN WALKER ACTOR GETS DEATH THREATS – Obviously, taking the mantle of “Captain America” is a huge responsibility. However, fans need to note the difference between reality and film.
Following the events of Avengers: End Game, we see an old Steve Rogers giving his iconic shield to Sam Wilson. But, in the first episode of Falcon and the Winter Soldier, we see Sam returning the shield back to the government.
Afterward, the government decided that America needs another symbol for hope. Thus, John Walker comes up to the stage. Since his brief appearance at episode 1, the majority of fans already disliked the character, which is definitely a given.
But, things get too far when the hate gets transferred to the actor playing the role. According to a report, Wyat Russel already received death threats from fans who weren’t too happy with him replacing Chris Evans as the star-spangled Avenger.
Furthermore, Russell’s official Twitter page seemed to be deactivated due to criticisms being too personal. Unfortunately, many still fail to realize that outside of his role, Wyatt is still a human being with feelings and emotions.
