As part of Star Magic’s newly-launched “Squad Plus”, Jimuel shared during the said launch that he didn’t imagine he would be joining the show business industry. According to him, he never thought of himself as an actor at first, but there were lots of offers here and there.

Jimuel shared how his parents Jinkee and Manny Pacquiao reacted to his decision to join the showbiz industry before accepting the offer to join “Squad Plus”.

They’re very supportive naman kasi kung papapipiliin sila, showbiz or boxing, siyempre dun sila sa showbiz kasi ayaw nila akong mag-boxing,” Jimuel said.

Jimuel also shared that he wasn’t afraid of intrigues that go with becoming a celebrity even though he had grown up in the spotlight before becoming a Star Magic artist.

When asked if Jimuel would like to have a love team partner, he shared that it wasn’t “one of the things na pinaka gusto ko”, but he also said that he’s willing to be versatile and he’s just waiting for opportunities at the moment.

Jimuel also said that he still has a lot to work on and he’s still a newbie in the showbiz industry.
