Actress and host Dianne Medina revealed that she almost called things off with her now-husband Rodjun Cruz when she felt that her partner wasn’t going to propose soon.
Dianne admitted in a live cast session with Pep.ph last March that she got impatient waiting for her partner to pop the question because of her age.
She also recalled thinking that her partner might not even be thinking about settling down yet, adding that she’s worried because women have a “body clock” in terms of bearing children and building a family.
Little did Dianne know that her partner had long been planning the proposal to happen on his 30th birthday which was last October 10, 2017.

Moreover, she said that it was all according to God’s perfect timing.
“Mas mabilis mag-mature ang babae compared to boys. So sabi ko, ‘Kapag ito hindi pa nag-propose,’ sabi ko, ‘Lord, ayoko na.’ Tapos alam mo yung same year na nag-pray ako, pinag-pray ko kasi… October 2017, dun siya nag-propose, nag-pray ako para first quarter ng 2017. As in saktong yun yung kaka-30 ko lang, pa-31,” Dianne said.
Dianne also said that she even planned a surprise dinner for her partner as a way to say thanks to him, but she ended being the one to be surprised.
