Comedian Gil Morales (also known as Ate Gay) recently took to social media as he gave an update about his bout with pneumonia.

It was last month when Ate Gay was admitted to the hospital due to pneumonia. This was confirmed by his sister Mary Ann Morales.

Medyo nagre-react naman ang mga gamot sa katawan niya as of now. May development naman. Sana po tuloy tuloy. Kahit papaano nakakausap na siya, medyo lumalakas na po (ta’s) nakakatayo,” Mary Ann said at that time.

Recently, Ate Gay shared on Instagram that he had recovered from his ailment.

Ate Gay also shared in his Facebook posts last Sunday that he fueled his body with food — lugaw, champorado, and sopas — for 20 days as part of his recovery process.

According to him, his doctor told him that it is already his “second life”.

Ate Gay also went on Facebook Live last Sunday to extend his gratitude to his friends and supporters who provided him support.

I love you sa inyong lahat. Binuksan ko po ito para lang po magpasalamat sa inyong lahat, thank you, thank you, thank you. Ito po si Ate Gay. I love you all. Ako po ako ay okay, okay na at lalabas na bukas (Monday) kung hindi bukas ay sa susunod na bukas. Maraming salamat po sa mga nanalangin at sa mga kaibigan na tumulong sa akin, thank you,” Ate Gay said during the Facebook live on Sunday.
